GRP Stair Landing Covers are effectively an oversize version of our Anti-Slip GRP Stair Tread Covers. They combine with Anti-Slip Stair Treads to provide complete anti-slip surface coverage across staircase and landing areas.

GRP Stair Landings are a cost effective solution to improve staircase safety, with low-maintenance and minimal downtime requirements.
They are suitable for public, commercial and industrial environments. Common applications include: fire escapes, access stairs, entrances, bridges and underpasses.

We manufacture our products to your requirements. You have the freedom to choose the dimensions, grit duty, thickness, and colour that align with your specifications.
They are available in profile lengths and goings up to a maximum of 3000mm x 3000mm (3 Metres).
We offer fine, standard and extra-coarse grit options to suit your intended application.
Additionally, we can produce your materials in any thickness from 3mm to 10mm dependent on your needs. We recommend a 4mm thickness for areas with light foot traffic. For areas with heavy footfall, 6mm thickness is standard.
The profile features a vertical contrasting nosing across the front edge of the step. The standard dimension height is 55mm - We offer dimensions up to 100mm. (If you have an open riser behind the step, we can supply a GRP riser plate to cover this).
Please Note: For DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) building regulation compliance, the nosing section should contrast in colour. The front edge is commonly a white or yellow nosing.
Installation Method

Purpose
GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) Fibreglass Stair Landings are suitable for oversize steps or stair landing sections. They provide an anti-slip surface finish to prevent slips, trips, and falls. These combine with GRP Flooring Sheets for walkways, and Stair Tread Covers for steps of all types, sizes, and shapes.
Material
GRP (Glass-Reinforced-Plastic) also known as Fibreglass, benefits from robust, hard-wearing, and durable characteristics. The material is resistant to weathering, corrosion, impact, and wear. The surface features an abrasive grit finish to enhance grip and traction under foot, to prevent slips and falls.

Slip Testing
The SureGrip Anti-Slip Surface has been extensively slip tested by an external facility, in accordance with BS7976.2. The slip resistant surface was successful. It surpasses the test criteria requirements to be an "enhanced non-slip surface", in both wet and dry conditions.
The PTV (Pendulum Test Value) Slip Testing Report (Compliant to BS7976.2) - Reported a score of 78 in the dry, and 68 in the wet. For any score above 36 or above, the chance of a slip is 1 in 1 million.
