Case Study at Farnborough Railway Station

SureGRP LTD were approached to design, supply and install our industry leading Anti-Slip Stair Treads for Farnborough Railway Station.

As a company we have been supplying Anti-Slip Stair Treads to Network Rail Stations for 15 years.

Farnborough railway station is on the South Western Main Line and serves the town of Farnborough in Hampshire, England.

This railway station encounters a high volume of footfall from pedestrians each day, therefore underfoot grip is essential to ensure passenger safety whilst commuting.

SureGRP was approached to supply and install an anti-slip material across the overbridge and on all staircases within the station.

The installation for this project was spread out across the week due to restrictions on working hours.

Anti-slip sheets (6mm thick) were used across the overbridge.

The staircases were fitted with our anti-slip stair treads with a high visual sightline which complies with the Equality Act 2010 and Network Rail Access for All regulations.
